Apply now for Tech23 and $100k in cash prizes

Startups, start your pitch practice. If there’s one event in the Australian startup calendar with an unmatched track record of debuting successful tech startups, it is Tech23, the pitch day event produced by Rachel Slattery and the event veterans at SlatteryIT.

In a few short years, Tech23 has already been instrumental in building awareness for superstar technology businesses such as Marathon Robotics, Posse, We are Hunted, BugHerd, Kaggle and more. The large audience at Tech23 typically includes angel and VC investors, media, incubators, accelerators, customers, government, people looking to be hired by startups, and, of course, your next competitors.

Tech23 2012 happens on Tuesday 23 October 2012 in Sydney, with the all-important aforementioned AUD$100,000 in cash prizes up for grabs, thanks to the NSW Government.

How Tech23 works
Twenty three of the best technology companies that apply to pitch are each given a strictly-policed five minutes to pitch to an audience of over 400 potential investors, mentors, entrepreneurs, and customers. Panels of expert industry leaders will then probe and offer advice to make your company shine.

A further 23 early stage start-ups score a stand to exhibit in the foyer area and demo their products. Applying is free, and even if you’ve applied before and been rejected, you should enter again.

Applications close Thursday 16 August 2012. Visit www.tech23.com.au for details on how to apply.
